It reveals notes of violet, small wild berries, small notes of crushed wild raspberry associated with touches of crushed cassis as well as fine hints of white flowers, sweet spices, nutmeg and a very discreet hint of chocolate/toasted/caramelization. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced and offers a fine acidulous frame, tension (in finesse), elegance as well as a beautiful finesse of the grain, a beautiful finesse of the suavity, a small aerial side despite a small density. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/fleshy cassis, small crushed black berries, small notes of fleshy raspberry associated with touches of cornflower, lilac, liquorice stick, chocolate as well as a very fine sapy hint, discreet hints of cardamom, graphite and sugared tobacco. Tannins are well-built, elegant and fine. Good length. A very fine hint of tonka bean on the persistence.
