The nose is fine and offers a slight concentration. It reveals cassis notes and small notes of wild red berries, lily / flowers associated with touches of crunchy wild strawberry as well as a touch of Sichuan pepper, spices and a very discreet woody / toasted hint. The mouth is fresh, fruity, juicy, racy, mineral, well-balanced, well defined and offers gourmandize, a beautiful freshness, a slight unctuosity, fat as well as tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy / fresh cassis, juicy / fresh blackberry and juicy raspberry combined with touches of juicy / crunchy red berries, racy minerality, toasted oak, chocolate as well as subtle hints of vanilla (in the background) and an imperceptible hint of toasted almond (in the background). Tannins are slightly firm.
