The nose is well-structured, precise and offers elegance. The wine needs to be decanted. It reveals notes of blackberry, cassis and fleshy strawberry associated with fine touches of violet, licorice, crushed raspberry as well as a very discreet hint of pepper. The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced and offers finesse, a fine tension, suavity, gourmandise, elegance as well as a good definition. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, juicy raspberry and small notes of fleshy cassis associated with slight hints of of blueberry, gravels, toasted oak as well as a very discreet hint of tonka bean and vanilla. Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length and good persistence.
