CHÂTEAU LARRIVAUX 2024 – Haut-Médoc

The nose is aromatic, with a certain power, a lovely racy grain and a certain controlled depth. It reveals notes of boysenberry, ripe raspberry and small notes of violet, associated with touches of fairly ripe cherry, cassis, as well as fine hints of zan, cardamom and discreet toasted hints. The palate is well-built, supple, fresh, with good definition, a certain gourmandise, lovely energy, a tangy frame, elegance, roundness and a lovely finesse in its fatness. It expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, bigarreau cherry and small notes of bright raspberry, combined with touches of tobacco, star anise, as well as fine iodized hints and a discreet note of cherry stem. Good length.
