Château Larrivaux 2020, Haut-Médoc

On the nose is aromatic and offers a small power, a fine richness as well as a good definition. It reveals notes of creamy blackberry, blueberry and more slightly sour cherry associated with touches of violet, hazelnut as well as fine hints of graphite, exotic spices and very discreet hints of vanilla. On the palate it is fruity, balanced and offers good definition, a juicy / mineral structure as well as juiciness, gluttony, nice definition, precision and fine grain. This wine expresses notes of pulpy / juicy blackcurrant, crushed blackberry and more slightly pulpy / juicy raspberry associated with touches of fleshy currant, blue berries, graphite as well as a hint of racy minerality, toasted almond with a subtle hint of exotic spices. Good length. A subtle hint of coffee lingering on the persistence.
