The nose is elegant, with a fine, smooth, precise sensation, delicacy and a spicy, Cabernet edge. There are hints of pulpy/sparkling redcurrant, cherry and slightly blackcurrant with hints of violet plum as well as fine nutmeg, pepper and discreet hints of sweet spices, an imperceptible hint of almost balsamic in the background. The palate is fruity, with freshness, minerality, good definition, a certain tension, energy, and a slight linear edge. On the palate this wine expresses juicy/fresh raspberry, pulpy red berry and more lightly fleshy purple plum notes combined with hints of crushed blackcurrant as well as fine hints of liquorice, violet, sweet spices and a subtle hint of green pepper in the background and cardamom. A fine touch of toasted almond and mocha in the background. The tannins are precise and mellow.
