The nose is fruity, discreetly tight and offers a certain concentration. The wine wins if it is decanted. There are notes of fairly ripe wild blackberry, raspberry and more slightly small red fruits associated with touches of pepper, cloves, hints of tobacco, a discreet hint almost saffron as well as a subtle a hint of pepper and bergamot (in the background). The palate is fruity, fresh, clean, linear and offers precision, a nice mineral structure as well as a very discreetly tight grain. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of fairly ripe cassis, fresh violet, fresh lily and more slightly of fairly ripe / small juicy red fruits associated with a varietal touch, chocolate / tonka bean as well as a subtle hint of tobacco , with a discreet hint of spices and an imperceptible hint of camphor on the finish / persistence. Tannins are racy and relatively polished.
