Château Larose Trintaudon 2022 – Haut-Médoc Cru Bourgeois Supérieur

The nose is precise, fruity and ripe. It expresses notes of crunchy blackcurrant, wild blackberry, morello cherry, strawberry and red cherry, combined with touches of white pepper, licorice, cut mint, fresh violet, as well as savory notes of roasted meat and dried bouquet garni. There is also freshness on the second nose: delicate touches of menthol and wild mint. The mouth is more reserved than the nose and rather tight. The wine expresses flavors of morello cherry, black plum, crunchy strawberry, red cherry, raspberry and cranberries, combined with notes of black pepper, licorice, cloves and roasted meat. Beautiful juiciness and fresh, salivating acidity, but the tannins are astringent and dry, especially on the finish.
