Château Larose-Trintaudon 2022 – Haut-Médoc

The nose is spicy with a fine austerity, The wine needs to be decanted. It reveals notes of blackberry, sweet pepper and small notes of clove, associated with touches of small crushed red fruits, as well as a hint of cassis and gray pepper. The palate is fruity, mineral, supple and suave, with a little fat and a certain gourmandise. The fruit is juicy/bright, with notes of cherry, raspberry and more discreetly, cassis, associated with hints of violet, tobacco and blueberry. Tannins are sappy, gourmand and mellow on the palate. Good length with a slightly saline finish, accompanied by fine touches of licorice and chocolate.
