The nose is slightly concentrated and offers freshness. It reveals notes of wild berries, cassis and ripe redcurrant combined with hints of flowers, spices as well as a very discreet hint of pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, a bit aerial and offers freshness, a mineral frame, a slight acidity (in the background), suavity, fat as well a small straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of strawberry, crushed raspberry and slight notes of cherry associated with slight touches of licorice / zan, tobacco and a discreet hint of toasted oak. Tannins are well-built. Good length.
