The nose is fruity (ripe fruit), relatively fine. It reveals notes of crushed raspberry, blackberry and slight notes of cassis associated with a hint of flowers (violet, cornflower), slight notes of spices as well as a woody hint, nutmeg, discreet hints of mocha and gray pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a slight minerality, a slight juiciness, an acid frame as well as fat. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, small red berries and slight notes of plum, raspberry, cassis associated with a hint of toasted oak as well as a discreet hint of caramelization and a touch of vanilla. Tannins are fine and young. There is a discreet hint of truffle and chocolate on the aftertaste.
