Château Larose Perganson 2023 – Haut-Médoc

The nose is fruity, fresh, elegant, balanced and offers precision and a certain intensity, discreetly tight at present. It expresses notes of blackberry, small wild red berries and more slightly pepper associated with touches of dry gravel, iodine, spices and a fine hint of nutmeg and toast. The palate is nicely juicy, fruity and balanced. It offers a mineral frame, juiciness, accuracy, tension, a nice definition, precision, suavity and freshness, silkiness and pulpiness. It expresses notes of juicy/pulpy raspberry, juicy/pulpy blackcurrant and more slightly – fleshy cherry associated with touches of cornflower, star anise as well as fine hints of graphite, smoke and toast.
