Château Larose Perganson 2022 – Haut Médoc

The nose is fruity and offers substance, a certain richness and precisely carried out. It expresses notes of pulpy blackberry, pulpy raspberry and more slightly – fleshy cherry associated with hints of spices, fresh pepper as well as hints of star anise, bergamot, lily and racy minerality (grave ). The palate is nicely fresh and suave and offers tension; tangy, a little shimmering side and a tangy frame. It expresses notes of juicy/tart blackberry, bright raspberry and more slightly – pulpy/juicy blackcurrant, associated with touches of violet, tonka bean, sweet spices and toasted notes, as well as a subtle hint varietal, bergamot and a subtle hint of almost fresh sage and fresh hazelnut in the background.
