There are notes of wild raspberry, morello cherry and, to a lesser extent, blueberry, combined with hints of liquorice, cherry blossom, chocolate and a very fine hint of liquorice stick, sweet blond tobacco and a subtle touch of nutmeg. The palate is fruity and offers minerality, freshness, good definition, gourmandise, fatness and roundness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of tart blackcurrant, jammy redcurrant and slightly pulpy/juicy cherry combined with hints of blueberry, blueberry, liquorice and a subtle hint of sweet blond tobacco. The tannins are finely mellow. Good length. Nice freshness and minerality.
