The nose offers a fine intensity and tension. It reveals notes of strawberry, wild blackberry and small notes of small berries associated with small touches of Sichuan pepper, liquorice, spices as well as very discreet hints of tonka bean and an imperceptible hint of ceylan tea. The mouth is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy/finely acidulous frame, tension and a fine straightness. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of crunchy/juicy raspberry, juicy blackberry, crunchy/juicy strawberry and small notes of tonka bean, toasted associated with fine touches of lilac, violet as well as a subtle hint of nutmeg, zan and sweet mild tobacco/vanilla. Good length. Tannins are well-built. A very discreet hint of chocolate on the persistence.
