(95% of grapes from the plateau. 2% Cabernet Franc, 98% Merlot) The nose is fruity, pulpy, it offers a certain brilliance, a floral side and a lovely infusion side of elegance. It reveals notes of brilliant cassis, crushed blackberry and small notes of small bright blue fruits, associated with touches of cornflower, a fine hint of racy limestone, discreet hints of lilac, small brilliant fruits, as well as a hint of almost sense of the place/aromatic herbs, a subtle hint of almost thyme and sweet spices. The palate is beautifully fruity, fresh, mineral, it offers a tangy frame, minerality and good definition. It also presents accuracy, suppleness, a certain gourmandise, structure, tension and nicely grained and textured. Nice freshness and minerality, depth and a certain aromatic concentration on the palate. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of creamy cassis, pulpy blackberry and small notes of small roasted-elegant red fruits, combined with touches of bright cherry, as well as hints of cornflower, infusion, bergamot, chocolate/mocha, vanilla and taosted. A wine offering good definition and gourmandise, depth, elegance, a lovely sense of the place side and violet notes. Precision and tension. Lovely gourmand tannins. Brilliance, finesse and elegance.
