Château Laroque 2023 – Saint Emilion Grand Cru, Grand Cru Classé

The nose is fruity, precise, beautifully racy, elegant and offers a fine depth. It expresses notes of boysenberry, strawberry and more slightly – blueberry associated with touches of crushed raspberry, small bright blue fruits as well as discreet almost Mediterranean hints of the fruit and has a subtle hint of sense of place. The palate is floral, juicy, bright, fresh, precise and expresses notes of juicy/fresh blackberry, bright raspberry and more slightly – juicy/fresh blue plum, associated with touches of blueberry, star anise, as well as fine roasted hints of the fruit as well as discreet hints of aromatic herbs. A subtle hint of tobacco and liquorice. Good length, nice juiciness and freshness, nice tangy and textured persistence.
