The nose is elegant, racy and offers power (in control), deepness, a racy grain/limestone as well as a beautiful freshness, a certain power with a vertical side. It reveals notes of blackberry, crushed cassis and small notes of small crushed black fruits associated with touches of violet plum, fleshy/bright cherry as well as fine hints of liquorice, cornflower, a discreet hint of lily, grey pepper and very discreet hints of sweet spices. The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral, well-balanced and offers a juicy/acidulous frame, a small tension, a racy grain, elegant as well as a beautiful acidity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh raspberry, juicy cassis and small notes of fresh violet plum associated with small touches of fresh liquorice, chocolate/cocoa powder/grain as well as subtle hints of sugared mild tobacco, an imperceptible hint of fresh hazelnut, sense of the place, biotope and liquorice. Tannins are racy and elegant.
