The nose is aromatic, powerful and offers a slight intensity. It reveals notes of undergrowth and spices associated with a touch of Sichuan pepper, blackberry as well as slight hints of red fruits, licorice and woody hints. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, sleek and offers a slight suavity, a slight fat, a slight freshness as well as a slight acid frame. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry and cassis associated with slight notes of ripe red berries, cherry as well as hints of licorice, undergrowth and a subtle hint of sweet spices/vanilla. Good length.
