Château Laroche 2020 

The nose offers concentration, a good definition, finesse, a beautiful pulpy/ripe fruit and a fine darkness. It reveals notes of bright cassis, wild blackberry, small notes of violet plum associated with touches of small black fruits as well as hints of griotte, violet, discreet hints of cherry blossom, nutmeg and caramelization. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, suavity, freshness, a small minerality, an acidulous frame as well as a small tension and a good definition. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, bright cassis, small notes of griotte associated with touches of small juicy blue berries as well as hints of tonka bean, tobacco, fine hints of camphor, an imperceptible hint of black olive, a subtle hint of caramelization and toasted almond. Good length and persistence.
