The nose is fruity and offers a certain intensity, beautifully racy/mineral. It reveals notes of morello cherry, violet and small notes of small pulpy fruits associated with slight touches of star anise and a very discreet hint of tobacco. The palate is nicely conducted and offers freshness, precision, tension, a beautiful definition and gourmandise, precision, sweetness, and suppleness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/ juicy plum, pulpy cherry and small notes of cornflower, associated with touches of roasted strawberry as well as hints of star anise and a subtle hint of fresh sweet spices. Beautiful gourmet wine, gouleyant and structuring. Beautiful suppleness and freshness with a very discreet hint of good bitterness/ floral finish/ persistence.
