The nose is racy and offers elegance as well as a racy power and a fine deepness. This wine should be decanted. It reveals notes of pulpy Boysen berry, pulpy plum, small notes of liquorice, pulpy/gourmand strawberry, very fine hints of grey pepper, small crushed blue fruits, spices as well as a subtle hint of Badiane. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a beautiful definition, gourmandize, a small unctuous side, a beautiful gourmandize, pulpiness, fleshiness and a small density. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed blackberry, crushed/fresh plum, small notes of pulpy/gourmand strawberry associated with small touches of chocolate, Cuben pepper, mild tobacco, cornflower as well as subtle saline hint, sweet spices and a very discreet hint of Badiane. Tannins are finely chewy and well-built. Good length.
