The nose is delicately perfumed, with perceptible woody notes (toasted wood, toasted hazelnut), a hint of liquorice and gray pepper at first nose. We also find notes of dried red cherry, morello cherry, blackcurrant, liquorice, dried mint, as well as a floral touch of peony and violet. The palate offers roundness, juiciness and a certain concentration. We find the flavors of morello cherry, crushed black plum, blackcurrant, raspberry, liquorice, toasted hazelnut in the background and a floral bouquet (violet, rose). The tannins are fine, sapid, a bit grippy, but balanced by a salivating acidity and notes of cocoa.
