Château Larcis Ducasse 2022 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru, Premier Grand Cru Classé

Château Larcis Ducasse 2022 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru, Premier Grand Cru Classé

(86% Merlot) A beautiful, racy, elegant and velvety nose that offers a lovely multi-layered side, harmony as well as a deep/dark/intense and elegant side at the same time…like an invitation to take your time so that it releases all its aromatics. Deeply rooted in its terroir. It expresses notes of boysenberry, wild small fruits and small notes of a sense of place (local biotope) associated with touches of blueberry, crushed strawberry as well as discreet hints of tobacco, smoke and a subtle hint of aromatic herbs. The palate is beautifully built, gourmand, fruity, nicely mineral, racy and offers tension, accuracy, suppleness as well as an airy side. What delicacy in its power, in its race! The palate expresses notes of creamy blueberry, blackberry and small notes of crushed plum associated with touches of bright red berries, cornflower, zan and fine hints of bourbon vanilla, cinnamon, sage, and a very discreet hint of aromatic herbs / infusion and liquorice stick in the background. Suppleness, gourmandise and a nice chew on the persistence.
