The nose is elegant, aromatic and offers a certain intensity, beautiful fresh pepper/ spiciness and is beautifully racy. There are notes of purple blackberry, sense of place and small notes of wild fruits combined with touches of Madagascar pepper as well as hints of infusion and spices. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, suavity, suppleness, a certain gourmandise, an acidulous frame, tension, precision, elegance, deepness, and freshness. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, wild small fruits combined with touches of blueberry, dense small red fruits as well as tabaco hints, sense of place, almost aromatic herbs-like hints, a subtle hint of fresh pepper and a subtle note of cardamom. Elegant, precise, chalky tannins with a subtle hint of tonka bean and toasted on the good length. Beautiful sapidity and freshness. Good work on the good bitterness in the background.
