The nose is elegant, racy and offers a beautiful power (in finesse), intensity and deepness. It reveals notes of small bright/juicy black fruits, juicy/bright blackberry, small notes of violet associated with fine touches of cornflower, small bright blue berries as well as very fine hints of cuben pepper, chocolate, sense of the place (terroir) as well as very discreet hints of grey pepper/chocolate. The palate is fresh, harmonious, fruity, well-balanced, elegance and offers a mineral frame, juiciness, a small tension, power (but controlled) and a good structure. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cassis, small bright blue fruits, small notes of black plum associated with touches of small bright black berries, zan, toasted, fine hints of cocoa, a subtle hint of vanilla and hazelnut. Tannins are elegant, racy and well-built. Good length. A wine that becomes an ambassador of its terroir!
