The nose is fruity, fine, relatively intense and quite elegant. It reveals notes of blackberry jam and plum associated with slight notes of Sichuan pepper as well as slight notes of liquorice stick and a hint of flowers. The mouth is fruity, gourmand and offers freshness, a certain tension a nice material, silky, dense and creamy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry jam and juicy cassis associated with touches of liquorice as well as a hint of oak, sweet spices and discreet hints of vanilla. Tannins are fine, elegant and reveal a good maturity (for an EnPrimeur wine). Good length and persistence. The finish is juicy.
