The nose is racy, slightly tight and offers a fine power as well as a sensation of tension. This wine should be decanted. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, small wild berries, redcurrant, small notes of fresh/fresh raspberry associated with small touches of cherry, cherry blossom as well as fine hints of cornflower, garrigue, a very discreet hint of tobacco and black olive. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced and offers minerality, a mineral frame as well as juiciness and a juicy/fresh fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy raspberry, juicy cherry, small notes of cherry stem associated with small touches of blackberry, cornflower as well as fine hints of garrigue, bramble, discreet hints of liquorice and a subtle hint of nutmeg (in the background). Tannins are supple. Good length.
