Château L’Annonciation 2022 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

Château L’Annonciation 2022 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

The nose is fruity, with a certain concentration and depth of fruit, a touch of clarity and a chiseled side. This wine would benefit from being decanted. It has notes of boysenberry, crushed strawberry and pulpy blackcurrant, accompanied by fine touches of blueberry, camphor, juicy-roasted berries (Mediterranean accents), as well as discreet hints of blond tobacco, cola and violet. The palate is fruity, juicy, suave, fresh, with good intensity, a certain juiciness, gourmandise and a pleasant texture, mellow, juicy and fresh, accompanied by a beautiful burst of fruit. The notes of blueberry, bright cherry and bright blackcurrant are complemented by touches of chocolate, juicy-roasted fruits, as well as a subtle hint almost of rosemary, infusion and vanilla. A lovely gourmand wine, round and well-balanced. Tannins are mellow and sapid, with a little salinity and mellowness in the finish. Good length.
