The nose is fruity and reveals a certain generosity of fruit and a nice maturity. There are notes of pulpy/juicy black cherry, blackcurrant and, more slightly, blueberry, combined with hints of liquorice, lily and fine graphite, cardamom and a hint of sweet blond tobacco. The palate is fruity and offers minerality, freshness, good definition, a certain tension, some gourmandize, a fine acidic backbone and a fine linear side. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cherry, blueberry and, more slightly, pulpy/juicy blackcurrant, combined with touches of bright raspberry and fine zan, graphite, cardamom and a discreet hint of toasted almond. A discreet almost herbal edge on the finish. The tannins are racy. Good work on the bitter taste.
