On the palate this wine expresses notes of small bright black berries, luscious raspberry and more slightly black cherry associated with touches of violet, lily, licorice as well as a hint of chocolate and toast. Tannins are precise and finely mellow. Presence of a fine touch of bitterness and toast on the persistence.
