The nose is fruity, fleshy, fresh and offers density. It reveals notes of crushed cassis, blackberry and vanilla associated with discreet touches of fleshy/fresh small fruits, almond, zan, nutmeg and caramelization. The palate is fruity, fleshy, well-built, racy and offers a mineral frame, a fine acidity, tension as well as a beautiful finesse of the grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed blackberry, cassis and more slightly raspberry jelly associated with fine touches of fresh strawberry, vanilla, caramelization, nut/almond, zan, nutmeg as well as a subtle hint of coffee (in the aftertaste). Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length.
