The nose offers a small tension as well as harmony. It reveals notes of black cherry/griotte, cassis, small notes of quite ripe raspberry associated with touches of violet, incense, spices, a very discreet hint of pepper and underwood. The palate is fruity, fresh, well-balanced and offers minerality, a finely acidulous frame and juiciness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/quite ripe griotte, quite ripe cassis, small notes of juicy strawberry associated with touches of small ripe berries as well as hints of incense/camphor, tobacco and a subtle hint of underwood. Good length.
