Château Langoa Barton 2024 – Saint-Julien, Cru Classé

Château Langoa Barton 2024 – Saint-Julien, Cru Classé

(52% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Franc) Lovely, fruity, gourmand nose offering a certain richness in elegance, fine aromatic concentration and depth. There are notes of boysenberry, pulpy/fresh raspberry and small notes of cornflower, associated with touches of small pulpy/fresh red fruits, lilac, clove, as well as a hint of camphor, hints of Sichuan pepper and a subtle hint of tobacco. The palate is well-built, fresh, mineral, taut, precise and offers juiciness, as well as lovely definition to the fruit. Beautiful freshness, juiciness and fruit brightness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh blackberry, raspberry and small notes of juicy/pulpy Bigarreau cherry, combined with touches of small red fruits, a hint of cornflower, sweet pepper, as well as a subtle hint of blueberry (in the background) and nutmeg. The tannins are mellow and gourmand. Nice sapidity and gourmandise on the finish/persistence. Nicely textured, with a subtle hint of sappy.
