It reveals notes of fresh blackberry, fresh cassis and small notes of ripe wild strawberry associated with touches of cornflower, lily, griotte cherry as well as hints of tonka bean, sweet spices, an almost saline racy minerality, bergamot and a subtle hint of pepper. The palate is fruity, beautifully defined, full of precision and offers tension, a beautiful finesse of the grain, elegance, minerality, energy as well as a beautiful racy minerality, fullness, sapidity and a small fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh blackberry, bright cassis and small notes of bright cherry associated with a touch of violet, lily as well as a hint of crunchy violet plum, fine hints of racy minerality, sweet spices, nutmeg, an imperceptible hint of cardamom and fresh hazelnut. Good length. Tannins are precise, elegant and well-built. A fine hint of chocolate and toasted almond on the persistence.
