The nose is fruity, racy (terroir) and offers a fine power/concentration as well as a fine richness (in the background). It reveals notes od cassis, ripe redcurrant, wild strawberrtt and small ripe wild berries associated with touches of liquorice, spices and a subtle hint of saffron as well as discreet touches of tonka bean, toasted and gravels (Graves). The palate is fruity, well-balanced, aery, tight, fine , mineral and offers tension, a small fat, freshness, gourmandize as well as straightness and beautiful crunchy/fresh fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of strawberry jam, fresh blackberry and more slightly crushed cassis associated with fine touches of redcurrant, mocha/tonka bean, sweet spices, sandalwood, a subtle hint of saffron, gravels (Graves) as well as a very discreet hint of vanilla and an imperceptible hint of nut. Tannins are fine, a bit firm and straight. There are fine touches of caramelization, crushed blackberry and a hint of vanilla on the finish/persistence.
