The nose is fine, elegant, fruity and nicely powerful (nicely controlled). It reveals notes of cassis and Boysenberry combined with slight hints of rose, chocolate and Sichuan peppers as well as discreet hints of strawberry and a few discreet hints of vanilla / toasted oak. The palate is fruity, mineral, racy, elegant and offers a fine mineral frame, a fine acidity, fat, finesse and a slight saline minerality. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry and crushed cassis combined with slight hints of cherry, strawberry as well as fine notes of toasted wood, vanilla and a discreet / slight hint of zan. Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length.
