The nose is fruity and offers a fine concentration. There are notes of pulpy cassis and crushed strawberry combined with touches of crushed small fruits as well as hints of violet. The palate is mineral, fresh, racy and offers tension, precision, a tangy structure as well as a discreet (and good work) on the bitterness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, crunchy cassis and small notes of fresh fresh red fruits associated with touches of dried almond and spices/clove. A slightly marked/extracted and slightly tight tannic structure.
