Château Lamothe Guignard 2018 – Sauternes

The nose is fruity and offers intensity as well as freshness. It reveals notes of juicy/candied lemon, fresh mandarine and more slightly fresh peach associated with fine hints of apple as well as discreet hints of fresh pineapple and a discreet hint of verbena (in the background). The palate is fruity and offers a good definition, juiciness, fat, suavity, a small unctuosity, richness as well as fine mineral/juicy frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of candied lemon, candied pear and more slightly pineapple in syrup associated with a touch of cristallized mandarine, fine hints of botrytis as well as discreet hints of vanilla and toasted almond (in the background). A very fine firmness on the background/finish.
