Château Lamothe-Cissac 2022 – Haut-Médoc

The nose is aromatic, gourmand with a certain elegance and harmony. It reveals notes of pulpy cherry, small bright red berries small notes of boysenberry, associated with touches of cornflower, infusion, a discreet hint of crushed cranberry, star anise, and a subtle hint of sap and sweet spices/fresh toast. The palate is beautifully fresh, juicy, pulpy, gourmand with tension, good definition and precision of fruit. It expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cherry, brilliant raspberry, and small notes of dense wild blackberry, associated with fine touches of small red berries, fresh violet plum, fresh flowers as well as a hint of saffron (in its floral side) and discreet hints of tobacco, graphene and cocoa. Good length.
