It reveals notes of cassis, cherry and more slightly small wild fruits, blackberry associated with fine touches of gray pepper, spices, toasted oak as well as a very discreet/imperceptible hint of Sichuan pepper/violet and liquorice (in the background). The palate is fruity, mineral, fresh, well-balanced, racy and offers suavity, a small tension, juiciness, freshness as well as mineral frame and crunchiness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, cassis and more slightly raspberry, wild strawberry associated with fine touches of wild berries, spices as well as discreet hints of liquorice (in the background) and caramelized oak. Tannins are well-built. Good length.
