The nose is spicy and offers concentration, elegance and minerality. Fleshy/juicy strawberry, blackberry and slightly crunchy blackcurrant notes are combined with hints of Bourbon vanilla as well as fine hints of liquorice, lily, racy minerality and a discreet hint of almost lily (in the background). The palate is fruity, tightly wound and offers minerality, a certain elegance, unctuousness and a fine richness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of crème de cassis, crushed cherry and, more slightly, crushed blackberry, combined with hints of lily, vanilla and fine chocolate and a touch of toasted hazelnut.
