Château Lambert – Cuvée Fût 2022 – Fronsac

Château Lambert – Cuvée Fût 2022 – Fronsac

The nose offers minerality. The wine needs to be decanted if you open it soon… or forgive it in cellar for the next few years… It needs time to fully settle in. There are notes of black cherry, violet and small notes of wild strawberry associated with touches of nutmeg, spices and a hint of graphene. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, a tangy frame, minerality as well as a small tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy red cherry, juicy/pulpy raspberry and small notes of juicy/fresh violet plum associated with touches of balsamic as well as a hint of liquorice stick and fine floral hints. Tannins are sapid. The finish and persistence are iodized. Good length.
