The nose is aromatic and offers concentration as well as a fine intensity. It reveals notes of wild cassis, ripe cherry and ripe strawberry combined with touches of spices / pepper, Tonka bean as well as a very discreet hint of wood and caramelization. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, suavity, gourmandise and acidity. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy black cherry, fleshy strawberry and fine touches of juicy berries / redcurrants combined with touches of wood, chocolate as well as very discreet touches of vanilla and licorice (in the background / persistence). Tannins are well-built. Good length. There is a fine hint of salinity on the finish.
