Château Lamarche Canon 2020 – Canon-Fronsac

On the nose it is fruity, finely tight and it offers concentration, with a certain intensity. It reveals the notes of small ripe black currants, blackberry, morello cherry and fleshy strawberry associated with blue plum as well as fine hint of star anise, hazelnut, tonka bean and black tea. On the mouth it is fruity, racy and offers juiciness, suavity, a certain gourmandize, minerality, a good definition as well as a little unctuosity, a fine straightness. The wine  expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, bright cassis and small blue fruits associates with touches of bright cherry, lilac, star anise, violet, the zan and a hint of tonka beans and a discreet varietal. The tannins are finely melow. A little chew on the finish/persistence.
