Château Lamarche Canon 2019 – Canon-Fronsac

The nose offers a certain concentration, power as well as precision (fruit). It reveals notes of black cherry, licorice, small black berries and more slightly violet associated with touches of lily as well as a hint of nutmeg and a very discreet hint of pepper. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers juiciness, freshness, fluidity, a certain concentration, a flowery side as well as a tangy structure. This wine expresses notes of crushed cassis, crushed blackberry and more slightly violet associated with touches of cornflower, liquorice, dark chocolate as well as a subtle hint of pepper and nutmeg. Tannins are well-built. Presence of fine hints of coffee in the background.
