The nose is fruity and offers a small richness, a small gourmand side and intensity. It reveals notes of Boysen berry, blueberry, cornflower associated with touches of crushed strawberry, lilac, green cardamon as well as fine hints of bourbon vanilla pod and a very discreet hint of dry mild tobacco (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers freshness, minerality, an acidulous frame, juiciness as well as concentration and a fine richness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fleshy Boysen berry, crushed cassis, small notes of cornflower associated with touches of bright blueberry, bourbon vanilla pod and a discreet hint of toasted/cardamom. Good length. Tannins are well-built. A very fine iodine hint (brings sapidity) on the finish/persistence. An imperceptible hint of mild tobacco on the persistence.
