Château Lalande de Gravet 2019 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

The nose is fruity (focus on the fruit) and offers a little power as well as a fine concentration. It reveals notes of bright blackberry, crushed cassis and more lightly wild strawberries associated with touches of violet as well as fine hints of vanilla and a discreet hint of cardamom. The palate is fruity and offers minerality, freshness, juiciness, a small fat, some energy as well as an acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy / fleshy raspberry, fleshy strawberry and more slightly bright cassis associated with touches of violet, pulpy purple plum as well as fine hints of tonka bean, blond tobacco, a subtle hint of vanilla and almond. Good length.
