Château Lagrange – L’Enclos 2015 – Cadillac Côtes de Bordeaux

The nose is fruity, aromatic, quite elegant and offers a fine intensity. It reveals notes of boysenberry, tonka bean and crushed strawberry combined with hints of crushed raspberry, blueberry as well as a hint of violets, caramelized oak and a very subtle hint of Sichuan pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, velvety, well-built and offers a nice mineral frame, a fine acidity, straightness, tension, elegance, a fine freshness, a good definition as well as a nice grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, crushed strawberry, juicy raspberry and small notes of cassis associated with touches of tonka bean, caramelization and cardamom / spices. Tannins are velvety. Good length.
