Château Lagrange 2023 – Saint-Julien

A lovely elegant, bright, pulpy, juicy nose. It expresses notes of pulpy/bright blackberry, roasted-juicy cherry and small notes of bright raspberry associated with touches of fresh/bright blueberry as well as hints of zan, nutmeg, discreet hints of pepper, camphor, toasted and bourbon vanilla, a lovely airy creaminess and finesse. The palate is nicely juicy, fruity, pulpy and offers a lovely shine of the fruit, gourmandise, a lovely material/creaminess in finesse and freshness. It expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, bright cassis and slightly – bright wild strawberry associated with touches of discreetly roasted-juicy small red fruits, blueberry, toasted, chocolate. The tannins are soft, gourmand, fresh, sapid and nicely soft. Delicious and a nice definition, a graphite side on the nose and in the mouth and a fine chalky side on the finish/persistence. Nice definition and deliciousness, nice persistence and softness
